Refund policy
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We at Madberet want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange your as-new item for refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of delivery.
RETURN PROCESS: Please contact Madberet to begin your return & receive a return shipping label. To ship us your piece, please package it up, attach the return label & drop it off at a USPS. We will review the piece upon receipt. If it is unused and in its original condition (no scratches, dents or breaks), we will initiate the refund, which will process within 2-10 business days. The initial shipping fee will not be included in the refunded amount. Customers are responsible for the $15 cost of return shipping. This will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Madberet rings are made-to-order due to the wide range of sizes. In the event you are returning a ring within 30 days of delivery, there will be a $50 restocking fee that will be deducted from your refunded amount.
EXCHANGE PROCESS: The exchange process follows the same steps as the above return process. Please let us know the specifications of your desired exchange (size, color, style, etc.) Once we receive your initial order, we will notify you & begin working on your new order. You will be reimbursed or invoiced for the difference in the value of the exchange, minus the shipping costs listed above.
DAMAGE UPON DELIVERY: In the event that your order arrives to you damaged in any way, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
CUSTOM DESIGNS: Custom designs & modified pieces are final sale. This includes custom designs, one-of-a-kind designs and pieces that the customer has modified beyond the online product listing, such as specific length, size, gemstones, engraving, etc. We hope you love your piece for a lifetime so we will work with you to resize, reset and/or redesign your custom piece at a discounted price.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WEAR: Fine jewelry is made of precious metals (gold & platinum). These metals are malleable and show scratches from wear. We create high quality pieces that are designed to stand up to responsible everyday wear. We recommend taking care of your jewelry by doing the following: Removing jewelry when swimming in chlorinated pools & when using products with active ingredients that damage precious metals (like cleaning products, paints, dyes, etc.) Additionally, removing rings when working with your hands, lifting weights, exercising or playing sports. These steps are both for your safety & for keeping your jewelry looking its best. When styling jewelry, please note that gemstones rubbing against metal will scratch & wear the metal down over time. Metal rubbing against metal will lead to scuffing (tiny scratches) that will create a more matte appearance over time. Even with responsible wear, your fine jewelry is expected to accrue a worn appearance over time through scuffing (tiny scratches) that creates a somewhat more matte appearance of the metal. This is normal & simply tells the story of you loving & wearing your piece. Some customers like to have their jewelry professionally polished every year or so, which we offer as a complementary service.
JEWELRY SERVICING: Madberet offers servicing & repairs. We offer lifelong complementary servicing for cleaning, polishing, prong tightening & general routine care. We offer complementary resizing for rings within 30 days of purchase. Beyond 30 days, resizing service is $50. Eternity bands cannot be resized & will need to be reset to change the size. We replace lost or broken stones at a discounted price. If you ever notice damage or loose stones in your jewelry, please stop wearing it & bring it in for servicing as soon as possible. Should a piece be severely damaged & cannot be repaired with standard servicing, we will work with you on a solution to remake your design at a discounted price. If a piece needs to be shipped in for servicing, the customer is responsible for the two-way $15 shipping cost.
JEWELRY INSURANCE: We strongly recommend insuring your fine jewelry. We recommend insurance through Jeweler's Mutual (an unaffiliated third party company). Jewelry insurance will be able to cover extreme cases such as loss & severe damage that we at Madberet are not able to cover.

Should issues with your pieces arise, we will work with you to find a reasonable solution based on the situation.
