Shipping Policy

Each product page notes whether a design is ‘made to order’ or ‘ready to ship’, which determines when your design will ship to you. 

If your design is ‘made to order’… When your order is confirmed, it is added to our project list at the start of the next business day (excludes weekends & holidays). It takes us anywhere from 1-4 weeks to craft your design. The product descriptions have more accurate estimates of time to craft for each design. You will receive an email when your order has shipped, which includes a UPS tracking number. 

If your design is ‘ready to ship’… When your order is confirmed, it will ship out on our next shipping round in the next 1-4 business days. You will receive an email when your order has shipped, which includes a UPS tracking number.

We use UPS as our shipping carrier. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes.

In-Store Pickup

You can skip shipping with free local pickup at Madberet’s office in Chicago (220 N. Green St.) Please contact Madberet to arrange in-store pickup. We will provide an estimate of when your design will be ready & a link to schedule your in-store pickup. You will receive a calendar invite with instructions for your visit. 

If you are picking up a custom design & there is a remaining payment, you will be required to complete the payment after you have reviewed your design & before you leave. 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to many countries. International shipping is $30USD to Canada. International Shipping is $40USD to all other countries.   

At this time, we do not ship to Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic, Liberia, Lebanon, Belarus, Iraq, Zimbabwe, Palestinian Territories, Myanmar, or Crimea Ukraine. 

Your international order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your country. You will be notified of these charges through UPS, on the page with your tracking number.. You can pay the duties & taxes through the UPS portal. The rate averages to 15-20%, depending on the destination. Madberet is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact Madberet with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Return & Exchange Policy (summary)

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery. Please contact Madberet to begin your return & receive a return shipping label. To send us your piece, please package it up, add the return label & drop it off at a USPS. If the item is unused and in its original condition (no scratches, dents or breaks), we will refund the full order amount, which will process within 2-4 business days. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
